Brocally was founded in 2025 with one goal: to give international visitors access to the Korea that most tourists never see. Tourist maps show the famous spots — we show you the neighborhood restaurants that only locals know, the hiking trails that don't appear in English guides, and the cultural experiences that require someone who actually lives there to navigate.
Every tour, service, and local host on Brocally is curated and verified by our team in Seoul. We review each host personally, confirm their language skills, and check their background before they go live on the platform.

How We Verify Local Hosts
Every local host on Brocally goes through a multi-step verification process before being listed on the platform. We do not automatically approve applications — each host is reviewed individually by our Korea-based team.
Identity Verification
We verify each host's Korean national ID or Alien Registration Card to confirm their identity and legal residency status.
English Proficiency
Hosts complete a short conversational interview in English with a member of our team to confirm they can guide international visitors effectively.
Local Knowledge Assessment
We ask hosts to describe their areas of expertise — specific neighborhoods, venues, and experiences — to confirm they have genuine on-the-ground knowledge.
Profile Review
We review the host's proposed bio, photos, and service offerings before the profile goes live. Any misleading or inaccurate content is flagged for correction.
Our Team
Brocally is run by a small team based in Seoul, South Korea. Our content team has lived in Korea for a combined 10+ years and writes all travel guides from personal experience.
